A lot of the products we buy are manufactured in places where the workers are put through horrible conditions, and some say that that makes it unethical to buy such products. What is the Sikh point of view? Since so many items are made like this, should we just stop buying from big stores and brands?

It all comes down to the individual. Remember Guru Nanak declined food from Malik Bhago. You have to decide. E.g. one of my friends does not get on the Richshaws because he feels it is poor treatment.
