1)Can we reach god by doing seva and simrim as well as our daily prayers without any readings of bani or reading the Sri Guru Granth Sahab.

2)Also is it okay to do our prayers in english

1) Yes. Liberation comes by grace. It is not "earned." It is bestowed. Focus on paying your karmic "bills" as they are presented to you.

2) Yes. What matters in the reading of banis is that you pay attention and listen to the sound current.

If your devotion is simple and pure, there is never any problem.
