Wjkk wjkf! I was reading the tankhanama (the question and answers between Bhai Nand Lal Ji and Guru Gobind Singh Ji), and came across a passage where it says that sikhs should not wear the color red because it is the devil's color and Bandai Sikhs (followers of Banda Singh Bahadur) wear it. I have come across 3 questions in this passage.

1) Why do most people to this day wear the color red including ragis and famous parcharaks? 2) Why is it bad to follow Baba Banda Singh Bahadur when he gave up everything, became an amritdhari sikh, and fought for injustice in battles. Did people make up this tradition and make up their own culture? 3) Bhai Bachittar Singh's nickname given by Guru Gobind Singh Ji was "Behroopia" because he used to wear a different color chola everyday. I am pretty sure Bhai Bachittar Singh must have worn red as well. Why did he not follow Guru ji's hukam of not wearing red?

Please forgive me for any mistake. All questions have been made by reading articles and Basics of Sikhi videos. Again, Bhula chuka di maafi. Wjkk wjkf!
