Do I need to take Amrit again

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

I am an amritdhari sikh since 4 years and have recently made a grave mistake. I went out with a couple of friends for lunch. There they started drinking. We later went on to an ice cream shop where I completely forgot that they had been drinking alcohol half an hour ago. I (completely forgotten they had been drinking) took a taste from his ice cream.

I don’t know whether what I did was acceptable or not. Please do let me know what should I do.
