Sat sri akal everyone, i want it to ask how important is shagun/chunni ceremony when it comes to wedding? Is it part of sikh traditon or cultural thing? If it is related to sikhism, can someone please provide reference?

It is purely a Punjabi cultural thing.

Waheguru ji ka Khalsa Waheguru ji ki Fathe!

Well my friemd all i can tell you is that the whole chuni thing is purely culteral. I for 1 weare a keski and I have seen an AKJ wedding where the singhni is dressed in a chola and is carrying a large sword like the singh she is about to marry and she was not wearing a chuni over her turban as she does not need to. I personally hate chunia because they are soooooooooo annoying! And they make me seem weak and not like a real singhani but thats my personal thought. So please don't take offence. Khalsa has no gender.

So any way sorry if my answer didn't help.

gur singhni/sisterji i am just 14 so dont take this as an insult pls with much love and respect to a big sister the chuni is only their to represent grace as the women has grace and sometimes its hard to tell a singhni apart from a singh so the chuni signifies the kaur a princess in her grace.

Well its kinda hard to not take this as an insult cause the khalsa uniform does not contain a chunni. Khalsa has no gender. I understand what you are trying to get at but the thing is I hate chunnia cause they fly every where and it just make me seem weak. a singhni does not need a chunni...

A Sikh Anand Kaaraj only consists of the 4 Laavan in front of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. The rest of the things at a wedding are only cultural and have no link to Sikhi.
