Satnam Ji, Firstly, I'd like to give big thank you, and smile and hugs to the Sikhnet Team for your great seva and opening this platform and your other platforms, so we, the Sangat, can get answers to our spiritual questions. My question is about Seva as a Sadhana and how this works. From my understanding, Sri Singh Sahib Ji gave the Aquarian Sadhana for his students to do for the foreseeable future. On the other hand, Yogi Ji notes that he spent 4 1/2 years doing his Sadhana at Darbar Sahib doing Ishnaan Seva. My question is, do Aquarian Sadhana and 'Ishnaan Seva Sadhana' represent 2 different types of Sadhana, is there a different effect to doing one or the other? Also, could one recreate the 'spirit' of Ishnaan Seva in their home, say by doing tidying at cleaning at Amrit Vela time? What are your thoughts on this topic. Best Wishes and Blessings, Tarran Singh

It's all seva and sadhana. Sadhana is daily ishnaan meditation, paath, pranayam, etc. All this can be done at Darbar Sahib. The Perkarma seva is amrit vela as is prakaash. No reason one can't do all this and more at Darbar Sahib. Seva isn't sadhana. Sadhana is sadhana. But some days, the universe may make seva your sadhana ;-)

Waheguru ji ka khalsa, Waheguru ji ki fateh,

I'm just answering so people can notice this question. I am unsure about this as I only consider following Guru shabad as the real seva. However, someone else might be able to better answer your question, veer ji. bhul chuk muaf.
