Is this okay?
Waking up in the morning and saying waheguru 10 times. After school come back & get a shower after that say waheguru 10 times. And also before sleeping. Will this be okay?

Waheguru simran is not a mantra. You may recite it 100 times without your purity of mind and concentration it will prove out to be worthless. Rather doing simran with all your heart and focus will be fruitful. Add on chupai sahib and japji sahib path in your routine along with simran jaap. WMK

Naam is the mantra given by the SGGS ji, many of the Angs Guruji says Naam simran is the medicine which can save from this kaliyug or dark ages

Lokesh ji, its not just about recitation of Gurumantra, its about following it. Also in this shabad, Guru ji is talking about Guru's sikhiya, which is all of Gurbani as the guru mantra.
