to India after the demise of my dear wife? As the group may already know i shared the pain of loosing my dear wife to breast cancer in Nov 2016. I will be travelling to India and Ludhiana as well where a Gianiji is helping me find another partner who may join us in London UK and complete my family. I know it will never be the same but Having kids growing up without a mother is a very difficult thing. As I am travelling to India at the moment just to meet prospective suitors, please advice me on what i should do? Should I visit my existing in laws and with what face do i go to their house? I tried my very very very best to help their daugher my dear wife but God had other plans! Are there any rituals or things I have to do? Do i have to go with something etc? Have no idea? Please help!

It is up to you to determine what’s going to be right. It may provide some closure for you to see her parents and for them to see the grandkids, or maybe it will bring up new feelings and be more painful since you are taking this trip to meet a new partner. That all depends on how you feel about it and I agree with Guruka Singh to trust your intuition on that! I don’t think there are rituals to be done but I’ve never been in that situation. Best of luck and I hope you have a good trip.

Sanjlon, I am praying that guru blesses you with clear guidance on how to proceed. Your children are very blessed to have you as their father and looking out for their needs. Your inlaws are blessed to have you looking out for their grandchildren's needs. This is a long journey. My thoughts are with you and your whole family.

Wherever you feel that you need to be, and whomever you need visit is understood through your intuition. If you feel that there are unresolved tensions or issues, that need some love and healing then initiate that if the timing feels correct.

Just an update the Giani who is now in Ludhiana who was supposedly looking for a girl me was actually asking the girls/her parents / relatives for 2 lakhs to marry their daugher to an NRI. I was heart broken and didnt say yes to any girl, I was so upset the giani was taking advantage of others!
