This random girl texted me tonight on messenger that she wants to add me on fb. She said that her friend passed away and she had the same name as me. So she wants to talk to me pretending like I'm her friend. When I asked her why don't u add someone else of the same name. Then she said she had so much hope from me and said that its up to me now.
It could be fake acc cause she doesn't have her own profile pic. But she seemed really nice. And she didn't like forced myself to add her. I don't wanna hurt her feelings if it's the truth. Should i ask her more about herself and her friend..? What should I do..?

You can just say that you are sorry to hear about her friend and that by rule you don't add people that you don't know. Firstly, you dont have to add her to be able to chat on messenger. Second, you are right that you dont know if her story is true or if she is who she says she is. But even if it is, then it's not really going to help her pain by you, a stranger, adding her and talking to her now. You can't replace her loss. If she is Sikh, perhaps point her to a resource like Sikhnet for more support.

I agree with strongKaur, if she's Sikh direct her to sites like this. Be careful when talking to some random person, they might not be who they say they are. Be careful not to give access to your personal info as well.
