Is God Listening to my prayers? My wife passed away with cancer
on Nov 30 2016, she was only 41, she left behind a mourning husband, and 2 very upset children, 13 and 10. While I am trying to get food on the table, take the children to school and do all the house chores, I have now got a letter of possession of the property by the landlord. When the wife was alive we were in the housing priority list, the council showed us 3 properties but she did not think any of them were suitable for her use. Now as i am not on the housing list, and not priority, I have to find a place on my own. Landlords and estate agents will not even talk about viewing a property if i don't earn £40000 minimum per year with evidence. My younger son is looking for his mother and asking me to buy evp equipment(equipment used to find if a place has a ghost or a spirit lurking...in this case his mother's...) and he wants to connect to her on the other side.
Since she passed away, I have been taking the kids to tabla, baja classes to keep them occupied, and going to the gurudwara regularly even every evening for Rehraas Sahib path and Sewa, until now nothing has changed, is God that we call Waheguru so cruel that he cannot listen to 2-3 of my wishes and help us get an affordable place to live? help me find a job? when i am trying my best to follow the way of Sikhi? Is it wrong to ask to ask for help from the so called God? and we his children? does a father not listen to his kids? PLse help.
