Thankyou ever so much for your clarification Please forgive me, yes of course it wouldn't be in the Gurbani. So basically our panj pyare were not BEHEADED it was an ACT . I thought that was the reason but there so much confusion stating they did give their heads and were 'beheaded and ressurected'. The reason is because my children were asking and i was unsure .

Waheguru Ji ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji ki Fateh

Of course this is not in Gurbani because it happened in 1699. Actually, IMHO, this does not matter. What we understand from the formation of the Khalsa is the same eaither way. It is the act of giving your head, without any doubt or reservation, with complete surrender to Guru Ji. That is all we need to know: the state of consciousness of the Panj Piyare, which, as Khalsa, is ours as well.
