Higher than baana is Bani...Value of baana will automatically diminish when understanding of Bani is low...There is no need to wear uniform if you are not in the school, studying...

You may keep Bana But you can't call yourself Sikhs if you don't struggle to understand Bani...

I shaved off my beard once & cut my hair...but when I really started understanding Guru's hukam...I could not shave anymore...just din't feel like...

Most of the Sikhs think just keeping beard & kesh makes them Sikh. This is a misconception...Bana is the uniform...Bani is the lesson...one may learn the lesson without uniform...but forgetting bani is being naive & ignorant...Bani + Bani = student in full form & effect...

Those who just say I am Sikh just because I keep beard & kesh & was born in a Sikh family...are even more lost sometimes...they read Japji Sahib throughout life without even trying to understand what it means...which is ignorance at its height...

If one is so proud or concerned about his religion then he must understand it, follow it & set a good example(of deep understanding) for his fellow men...

This is an interesting topic that many people are putting their opinions about. If I can honestly answer your question of whether Sikhism is dying or not it is hard to answer this question because this question is quite complex to answer. First and foremost one needs to understand that living as a turbaned sikh man and facing some challenges (whether school bullying, peer pressure, random airport screening, employment discrimination, and matrimonial discrimination) has forced many Sikhs to remove their turbans because of the circumstances. On the other note some Sikhs who at one point had cut their hair decided to re-adopt their visible sikh identity. One question you had asked if turbaned sikh guys are good looking to girls well that depends on individual sikh girl, but majority of sikh girls these days prefer clean shaven guy as opposed to a turbaned sikh guy. One thing to understand is every individual whether its guy or girl is entitled to their own opinion. Honestly these days only a small handful of sikh women prefer to marry a turbaned sikh man. Your other question was how can this patit (clean shaven ) trend be stopped well there are many ways first and foremost the parents have to educate the kids on sikh history, sikh identity, sikh sacrifices, also the local gurdwaras need to address this issue by setting up sikh camps, sikh seminars, having a youth discussion forum so that the youth can discuss about sikh identity and civil rights.

its people who follow religion with full faith ...they are dying..

Sikhism will never be a dying religion on the contrary it is growing and is a religion of supreme courage and sacrifice which has been the main agenda for it being created by the Tenth Master Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj, the situation that sikhs are trimming their beards and cutting their hair are of trivial concern as SIKHI will be everlasting in the blood.In foreign countries like US, Canada, UK and other nations the love and respect for Sikhism is increasing as their is much awareness of sikhism. The real need of hour is spread more awareness about the history and findings will come out that a Sikh shows true test of character and spirit throughout his life and this cannot be equated by a person of any other religion. Creation of Khalsa solely does not involve sikhism as it was evolved quite prior in 1469 at the birth of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji who is the first Guru of Sikhs and continuing the legacy till Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji who is the supreme God of Sikhs. For the love of Khalsa Panth always say " WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA ATE WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH !!!" as this magical line will join all the sikhs in the world. The answer is No. Keeping kesh doesn't make anyone a Sikh. Otherwise, Guru Sahibs would not have blessed us with Sri Guru Granth Sahib (SGGS). A person is a Sikh if he or she follows SGGS and realise God everywhere and in everyone.

Kesh are part of human being like other body parts. If people like me do cut the kesh, we are simply not complete human beings. The uniform is necessary to be in disciplined but it's not sufficient. One has to study hard to get the degree.

Sikhism cannot die as a true religious person is a Sikh regardless of the culture, race or way of living. Keep spreading the message of SGGS and teach everyone it's meanings.

I am Prabh Singh lives in Ludhiana, Punjab & I no-more believes in any Religion even if it's a Sikhism.
