Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

We have to live in this world, at times it can be hard. But we've been taught to respect our parents, because what they have done for us, we don't fully know. Its hard, and I need to still learn this as well.

Remember just remaining silent within is not going to bring us inner silence.

I remember a story of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, where he went two villages. One where people disliked each other and had problems, the other people lived happily. Guru ji said that he hopes all the people disliked each stay together so they don't spread their negativity. But he said he hopes the positive people split up, so they spread their good qualities.

What you can try and do, is be normal with your parents, and maybe one day your goodness will rub off against them. But don't forget that you are their daughter, avoiding them won't change them it might make matters worse.

Another to think about this, is because Guru ji has put you in this situation so you learn (sikh) and carry on with life.

Hopefully this helped you a bit. Please forgive me if i said anything wrong or offensive.
