I've been vegetarian for about 7 months now and need some help. Im under weight and I want to gain some weight and some muscle. I want to take protein bars/shakes to help me gain weight. Most products I have looked at are vegetarian and don't contain egg but because there made in places which has egg they say might contain egg. Can i eat this?

The question about eggs and food:

I recommend you also watch part 1 and 2 to get the whole picture. But mostly in this part he talks about your body and the effect that food have and some comments on eggs in the end.

About protein intake I recommend this:

Best Protein Powder

Here is the link for his recommendations if you live in US/CAN/UK/EU or Oceania.

Now if you can't find these products at your local market, look at the ingridient list. The ingredients of a good protein powder in his book looks like this “Ingredients: filtered whey, sugar, lecithin” – thats it. Even better if the “sugar” is missing because whey is sweet by itself, it doesn’t need sugar.

Must be filtered.

Good Luck /Cloud
