Wrongly phrased question. Udasis are Sikhs. All the original groups of Sikhs established hundreds of years ago must now come together, since all the aspects of being a Sikh can no longer be separate. This means Nihangs, Udasis, Nirmalas and Namdharis cannot survive as separate "sects." The modern Sikh must incorporate all these aspects of Sikhi to be a complete Sikh in the 21st century and beyond.
