Bhai Baljit Singh- basics of sikhi has a video where he says that a hukamnama should be taken and someone knowledgeable should comb through and figure out whether its an appropriate match. this hukamnama was for the panth from Harmandir Sahib, why not take your own local Hukamnama after Ardas to Guru Ji.
