HIV is not spread through saliva. HIV is not spread through saliva." as you can tell that would certainly be an odd scenario. HIV can lead to AIDS, AIDS is like the end stage diseases that people get from HIV. These are called "AIDS defining illnesses" meaning the immune system is so low from the HIV that you get AIDS. Most people with HIV dont get AIDS anymore in western countries because we have good anti-retroviral drugs to prevent that.
