  1. The second method is simply wrong. The inhale is quick between each sa-ta-na-ma cycle. There is no chant, silent or otherwise on the inhale during the spoken and whispered sections of the meditation. During the silent part, the breath is simply relaxed and the mantra continues mentally in the same pitch and rhythm as the spoken and whispered mantra. There is no correlation between breathing and mantra during the silent part. This is how Yoga Bhajan taught the meditation.

  2. Focus is between the eyebrows.

  3. The L-shape is a visualization you do mentally on each syllable as if each syllable is entering at the crown and exiting between the eyebrows.
